baby wipes and thermal compound

quick question,,, is it safe to use baby wipes to remove thermal compound and is the thermal compound that comes with the hyper 212 evo any good

Just use paper towels or toilet paper along with alcohol. The thermal compound is excellent, just perfect fluidity and adhesiveness.

lol its only 6 pound lookin at 15 for a bottle of vodka , but really is there something else i can use other then baby wipes or alcohol ?

That's the wrong kind of alcohol.

A bottle vodka will be about 40% ethyl alcohol by volume. Industrial grade denatured alcohol will be around 95% ethyl alcohol by volume and commercial rubbing alcohol is around 90% isopropyl alcohol by volume.

A 500ml bottle of rubbing alcohol costs around $4 at most pharmacies and grocery stores.

The alcohol referenced is not the type you drink it is the antiseptic type you get from a grocery or drug store, usually with either a 70% or 90% isopropyl alcohol content. (Caution: Not for human consumption!)

No you do not clean thermal compound from a CPU or GPU with baby wipes, because they contain multiple additives like lanolin and such as that, which is great for a baby's bottom but not for your CPU or GPU.
