How to Backup a preinstalled O.S?
I want to change my operating system from windows 8 to windows 8.1 or windows 10 by clean installation but still i can go back to my previous windows 8 whenever i want.

im just worried bout my license

i had created a windows recovery image of my pre installed operating system which is windows 8 using OneKeyRecovery but i don't know how it works. does my license backup also into that image?

if i already have a working windows 10 and install it by clean installation, then using onekeyrecovery software to restore my previous windows using that windows recovery image that id created is still my license will work? it wont lose?
.

You can always create a recovery drive to a usb stick with the bult in tool, you can find this by going to control panel > recovery > create a recovery drive. Here's the link to Lenovo site (https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/ThinkPad-T400-T500-and-newer-T/Create-Win-8-recovery-media-in-ThinkPad-Thinkcentre-ThinkStation/ta-p/1042103), they recommend the same method for Windows 8 computers. It should have the license key built in. But if you want to be 100% sure you have the key you can use the procedures on the folling web page to recover your Windows license key from withing Windows install (http://www.howtogeek.com/206329/how-to-find-your-lost-windows-or-office-product-keys/?PageSpeed=noscript).
