Hey guys, I am relatively new to full on PC systems as I have used mac for years.
I built a PC editing rig and I was thinking of ways of getting up and running fast just in case I get a virus or some kind of other major problem with windows.
I have a Cool Master Stryker Case with a SSD front hot swap port..I was thinking of buying a 120 gig ssd, installing a separate start up windows partition on it, Avid, and the rest of my adobe creative suite. So if there is a problem I can swap that drive in, boot from that, activate my creative account, and be up running in no time.
Since it is hot swap if I am with a client or in a super rush I can do it instantly.
Does this plan make sense? I was going to buy a 50 dollar 120gb san disk off new egg now.
