Hi,
I have a LS220D in one location, lets call it OFFICE, and I want to back up to 2 seperate LS220D in another remote location, lets call them HOME1 and HOME2. I currently have the remote location's router (HOME) set up for port forwarding for the LS220D (HOME1) local IP address of 192.168.0.30 for ports 8873, 873, 22938, 22939 and also for the external port of the LS220D (HOME1) which is 9000.

All of these port forwarding are pointing to the LS220D NAS at 192.168.0.30, which is HOME1, and it works fine, however on the same location, same router, I have a second LS220D (HOME2) which has an external port of 8999.

I have 8999 forwarded to 192.168.0.25, which is the local IP address of the second LS220D, (HOME2) but I am not able to backup to it from OFFICE to HOME2

Just adding this note:-
If I delete the port forwarding of ports 8873, 873, 22938, 22939 (which were for 192.168.0.30) and add the same ports for 192.168.0.25, them HOME2 is detected by OFFICE NAS at the expense of loosing conenction to HOME1.

Is it the case that I'll only ever be able to connect to one remote (different location) NAS ?

Any ideas how to do ?

Setup a VPN. Then both remote units would be visible.
