Hi folks! My first post here!
I need some help. I have a network with mixed Windows XP and Windows 7 computers. We are already replacing all to Windows 7 but it takes some time.
For now, i need to backup folders to my D-Link DNS-320L but i have many hidden folders (using the $ on the end of the share). But the NAS uses linux, i canot make him understand the name of the folder. Example:
--> \\nameofcomputer\folder$
NAS says network fail
--> \\nameofcomputer\folder
NAS says network fail
Is there a way to make this NAS understand hidden windows folders? Or anyone has another tip for me to hide the folders, not using a Domain?
