Backup software for external drives

I have a bunch of hdd different sizes say one for media one for gaming and etc. they are on a bunch of internal drives through a usb docking station

Say drive 1 backs up drive 2 and 3
When doing the backup first drive 1 and 2 are connected then I pull out drive 2 and put in 3 and back up drive 3 to 1

Here. Check out Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows FREE edition. I haven't checked, but if one of the source volumes is missing from backup, in theory it should skip over it and continue on with the other that's online. Again, that's assuming Drive 1 is the backup repository, and Drives 2 and 3 are the sources to backup data from.

Edit: Veeam only supports backing up data TO external USB drives. All source data must be internally attached.

You could also try a trial of Acronis True Image 2018
