I was backing up a game, i copied all the files from the source onto my hard drive then created cd-rom using nero, added all the files and burned.
When i tested the disk, it autostart, when i installed it and then launched the game, it told me to insert the correct disk

why is this and how do i fix it?

i wanna keep a backup of my fave game

It could be some sort of funky protection thing. You probably should try using the CD Copy function in Nero instead of manually copying each & every file mate :).
