Bad 1080 ti overclocking results?

so recently I've decided to overclock my Rog Strix 1080 Ti OC a bit with gputweak.

Every time I push the core voltage slider over the 10% state, it doesn't pass the 3D Mark Fire Attack test – it just stops.
Without changing the core voltage offset I can push the core clock only up to 2012 mhz (+70) without failing the 3dmark test. I guess i can get a bit more from my 1080ti oc with the right adjustments. The temperatures are fine.

What am I doing wrong? Or is it just the bad luck in the lottery?

Does it crash in Time Spy?

I guess if it fails one test, it doesn't matter with the others, does it? correct me if i'm wrong

Mine is really strange , it runs so good in Time Spy , as soon as I try Firestrike it crashes and I have lower my OC. If you can try and run Time Spy out of curiosity.

i will definitely check it later today and give you my report.

i guess i could push the clock more and it will be overall stable except the fire strike test. sometimes it fails the test even on my current settings, sometimes it's ok with that 20 times loop
