At the very lowest 1080p settings with 16gb ram a gtx 1060 a intel i3 6100 I get between 60 and 47 fps some times dropping to 37 but on my other pc which has 8gb ram a 1050 ti intel i5 6600k stock I get over 144 fps what the he'll is the game really cpu intensive or something I don't understand tandem why my frame rate is so bad

There is a large difference in performance between the CPU's. The i3 has only 2 cores and the i5 has 4, Both can handle 4 threads BUT the i3 is limited to 3MB of cache where as the i5 has 6MB. The issue is the CPU is not powerfull enough to handle the game and send enough information to the GPU to keep it at full utilization.

But that doesn't make sense overwatch isn't a intensive game it says that the minimum specs require a i3 and doom runs at like 100 fps and that game minumim is an i5 so is it bad optimization cause if doom is more gpu and cpu intensive than overwatch than just just screams bad optimization right? Or I'm I wronv

The i3 recommendation is the "MINIMUM" recommendation which means all settings at there lowest and on 1280X720 resolution monitor. The recommended CPU is an i5 CPU with means then all settings at max and a minimum of 1920x1080 resolution. ( these examples do not include the GPU which plays a crucial part in FPS )

At 1920x1080, or under, all games are more CPU bound than they would be at higher resolutions. While this game does need a good graphics card if the CPU can not feed that card with enough information your FPS will suffer because it is being under utilized because of the CPU bottleneck

I don't think you understand my 2nd question if doom right is more putting a huge efissis on this cpu intensive as well and a have all the the settings at the lowest wouldn't overwatch the less cpu intensive game run better cause overwatch needs i3 minumim and doom minimim is i5 so what better optimization or what??
