Question I'm looking for a mat for my case to sit on that's both anti-static and anti-vibration ?

Been struggling for years with this problem. Onto my third different case with this happening. When I am wearing jeans when I sit down and get up from my computer chair I hear a static discharge sound through my speakers and my screen goes black for a second or two.

Also vibration noises.

I've been trying to search for this but all I find is those anti static mats you build a PC on? Looking for something I can permanently sit under my PC case in an attempt to solve both issues at once.

Thanks!

I don't think that would solve the issue, perhaps look into your wall outlet(and your main power distribution board) to see if you have a grounding issue.

As for a mat, you could simply get a large mouse pad or desk pad as they are almost always going to be with a rubber/bitumen underlayer.

For those who might be familiar with what you're looking for, please mention the make and model of your case as sig space specs can and will change over time and in turn cause this thread to be rendered moot to the end user in the same boat as you're in now.

So I should add that I have discovered If I am wearing jeans , when I get up from my gaming chair I hear this "pop pop pop pop" sound through the speakers with each pop making the screen go dark temporarily and I ground myself on the case there's a static spark from my finger.

It very rarely happens in shorts or jogging pants/sweat pants.

And in the same spot, on the same brand of carpet protector, over 10 years and 4 different gaming chairs this NEVER happened until I purchased a Secret Lab gaming chair.

that suggests the psu isnt grounded properly if you touch the case and its shocking you that suggests the psu isnt grounded correctly.

the pop sound is the power spiking or static interference.

examples of cause
t could be due to a faulty ground connection in the house, a problem with the PSU's grounding, or a poor connection between the PSU and the case.
