hello, i recently got a 780ti. after installing the drivers, i noticed i didn't get good fps on BF4 or FC3. I would get 50-60 frames. My friend, who just has a 780, gets 120fps on both games. Thanks in advance.

we are running the same settings
AMD FX-8350 Black Edition Vishera 8-Core 4.0GHz
8GB Ram
990fx ASUS sabertooth mb
850 psu
EDIT: i should also mention we have the same CPU, MB, and he has 16GB ram and an SSD

its off but it wont surpass 65 frames

Either reinstall the drivers using DDU in Safe Mode - or check the control panel for the settings.

Make sure DSR is off and that do not have any other items turned on in NCP.

If it still happens test with another few games. Make sure those are running normally.

dsr is off

it doesnt matter, the fact is that my card should be getting a higher fps
and how can i overclock it?

What you need to do is monitor your CPU and GPU core clock and usage. At one point I had an issue with BF4 where my GPU was only using 40-60 percent of it's capability. You could be having a similar issue. Use MSI afterburner/rivatuner along with HWinfo64 to display all these metrics on screen while your playing.

You want to make sure your CPU/GPU is running at the clock you have set, temperatures are all in the safe range, and whether your GPU/CPU is actually working hard. If it's just sitting at 60% usage that would explain the low fps.

thats exactly whats happening, the max usage is 80 but its usaully around 60%

I don't know how to fix it unfortunately. I had to do a fresh OS install for an unrelated issue and I noticed afterwards that my BF4 was also fixed. You may want to do a game reinstall, although I think I tried that before I did the OS install and didn't have any luck.

But at least you know what is going on.
