After a recent format and cleanup on my system, I reinstalled my games, downloaded the latest drivers and decided to test far cry 4 again.

Even though I used to be able to max the game, and still am - it just looks awful now... I remember it being an absolutely stunning game, but now it just looks a bit rough and pixelated.

I also see a difference in other games.

FPS are normal

The system has been on for a few days downloading games (horrible Internet).

Could it be bad drivers?
Or maybe my PSU isn't powerful enough?
Faulty monitor?
Tired from long uptime?

restart your system. if problem persists, reinstall latest video drivers. if problem persists install an older version of the video drivers.

Ok, I will fiddle around with it tomorrow.

Do you know if my PSU can damage the graphics cards if it is not powerful enough?

I read somewhere that 850w is recommended for my cards...

permanent damage is very unlikely, but possible.
PSU problems usually cause reboots or shutdowns, but no permanent damage to hardware.
