Bad hard drive?

I have a quantum fireball ct10 and I can't stand the noise it is making. Is it just me our is this particular hard drive a noisy one? Or there be something wrong with it? It makes that horrible low pitch noise alla fujitsu...

A little O-level calibration might help the situation. Beat it with a 16-oz hammer until it stops grinding.
