hi,

I've rolled back from Win11 as i couldn't stand it and having these small issues on Win10 now, nothing major but a bit annoying.

1. Sleep Mode - as soon as the PC goes to sleep, it stays there for like 1-2 seconds then resumes right back without any keys or mouse action, i think it's some BIOS setting related with power... any tips?

2. Balanced Mode Power plan - does not underclock and it's always at max CPU basically, like high performance. Power Saver on the other hand drops the CPU correctly. ideas?

I tried a bunch of BIOS options but didn't find anything that does 1 and 2.

CPU is a 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-13700KF
Motherboard is an Asus PRIME Z790-A WIFI,

thanks!

Take a look in Reliability History/Monitor and Event Viewer.

Either one or both tools may provide some insight as to what the system is doing or trying to do with respect to sleep modes and power plans etc..

How did you do the roll back?

Cleans Windows 10 install?

In any case, Windows 10 may be trying to install updates etc..

Immediate objective is to discover what the current settings are in order to understand what is happening.

Then do some additional research and reading regarding the current Power and Sleep configuration.
