Hi I understand alot of people will roll their eye's on this post but I thought I'd try.

I have a basic system I built several years ago. Specs are below. It's been doing everything I need fine (Photoshop, Lightroom, video editing and all of the COD games thus far). I can play Black Ops 2 fine with no issue's (low settings of course) as I just like to log on and screw around get out some frustration by shooting people! This is true even though most review websites say my hardware isn't good enough for the minimum recommendations for BO2.

Processor - AMD Phenom II X2 550 Black
Graphics Card - MSI AMD RAdeon HD 7730
Ram - 4gb PC6400 DDR2 800hz
Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-MA785GM-US2H

If I had the money I would build a brand new system (maybe next year) but fate has given me something better (baby) so I'm limited on cash. I upgraded my video card to a AMD Radeon 7730 which was supposed to be an increase somewhat and I didn't notice anything at all. So what can I upgrade to actually notice a difference (If I can with a limited budget)? Maybe 75.00 or less? Or should I just return the 7730 and put the 75.00 towards an even better graphics card? More RAM? CPU would be tough since I can only go up to AM3 but I guess there's always kijiji.

I'm thinking of going to buy Battlefield 4 tonight (since COD Ghosts requirements seem wayyy out of my league). For basic playing, do I need to upgrade anything else to notice a huge difference? Is it even possible without replacing everything? One thing I did notice is that my CPU is at 100% all the time with BO2 but it does work fine.

Also I tried to open up the other 2 cores on my cpu but the fan starting making a really loud noise so I reverted it back out of panic. Maybe that's a question for the hardware forum.

Thanks in advance.

Alrighty OP, here is the best plan. Sell your baby, there's your fresh high-end computer budget money. jk jk.
Anyways, that GPU is not good at all.. I would return it if I was you then upgrade your CPU or add another RAM and make it 8GB.
What GPU did you have before that? I'm pretty.... sure BF4 has higher requirement then CoD to my knowledge... not sure -.-

Ha it did cross my mind. I had an AMD Radeon HD 4650 512mb prior which is about 5 years old. Figured 7730 was a nice change. Ok I can check for black friday deals and just keep upgrading what I can.
