[SOLVED] Battery Backup Question

So I asked my computer builder what Voltage amps that my computer tower would pull out and was told 500 max but that it will usually pull out 200 VA

Was wondering if they are okay to leave plugged in all the time or will the battery has a charge eventually it will kill the battery ??

Batteries in UPS units DO have to be replaced after 3 to 5 years. But they are designed to be left plugged in.

How much is it roughly to replace the battery? Cause I got a 4 year Asurion Protection Plan with it as well.

So it won't over charge and kill the battery ??

No, you won't kill the battery by overcharging.

I can't order from the USA website since I'm Canadian but i looked at Amazon.ca and the price's I seen it was $45.99 for the most expensive one I guess I would go by my model number once I get it in the mail I would know that information.

Oh Can I put it on the ground? I don't really have space on my table for it where my TV, Tower and Internet modem is.

So I just got the Back up battery thing today and when I plug it into the wall the light at the side of it that says "Building Wiring Fault" shines red when i look to the paper included it says not to use it if the light is red

But I was wondering if this light happens to be red to anyone else?
