Battery Capacity reduced to 65% within a day

My dell inspiron laptop do not charge its battery to its full capacity. Dell software shows that it only charge upto 65%. My battery capacity is 40 wh but it charges 26 wh. But the battery indicator shows it fully charged.

Battery getting drained out very quickly. Thats not happen before.
Please help

Its out of warranty. So i didn't

That's typical of a dying battery, nothing you can do but replace it

But its fine yesterday, givn me about 3 hrs of backup and today its only 1 hrs. Its a 8 months old 6 cell dell original battery
