[SOLVED] Battery drain while gaming even though it's plugged in

Hi all,

I've reinstalled Windows 10 recently and after doing so, I've noticed that whenever I'm gaming, the battery starts rapidly draining and the adapter gets super-duper hot. My laptop has never done this before I reinstalled Windows 10. I've been looking online everywhere for a fix but couldn't find any at all. The battery also takes a while to charge, gaining 1% per hour (never done this either)

My laptop is a MSI GS60 Ghost 2PE, Intel(R) Core i7-4710HQ CPU @ 2.50GHz, 16GB Ram DDR3, Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600, Nvidia GeForce GTX 870M

Either damaged battery or damaged charger.

Follow the instructions from the link below and see where your battery currently stands now. I guess it's pretty old and is near its life cycle, especially gaming laptops that has to run at high clock speeds most of the time:
