Question Battery Not Found

The issue is with an Asus C300SA Chromebook. It cannot recognize that there's a battery installed. When I run the command battery_firmware info on Crosh, I get the message "Battery version 0 is not supported." When I run the command battery_firmware check I get 4 lines with the same message: "EC result 1 (INVALID_COMMAND)." The command battery_test gives the message "Found neither line power nor a battery; assuming that line power is connected. No battery found." The OS is up to date (currently 79.0.3945.86). I have changed out the battery and I get the same results. I don't know what else I could or should do. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Have you tried factory-reset / wiping? What do Asus support say about that?
