Hi there folks,
so yesterday, I decided to replace my BIOS battery as well clearing my CMOS.
I took all the precautions needed, turned the PC down, turned the PS button off, then i took the battery out, cleared the CMOS, waited 5 minutes, put the battery back on, turned the PC on and it didn't show any vital signs.
I used a static band as well, so my guess would be, that there wasn't any static discharge and there is no chance that something went on short ciruit.
I did all that over and over again, waited over an hour before placing the battery back on and still nothing.
I guess the problem is the PS, it is a Xilence SPS- 1000W R2 ( an old version of the Sps-1000 R3), but don't know exactly what it would be.
The computer worked very well before I did that.
Give me some Tips please.
Thanks in advance.
Yours Sincerely,
Miro.
