Question Battery wear level is at 90% but it does not hold any charge ?

Hi,

I got the idea the battery wear level of 90% is good but charge level is 0% and it doesn't not hold any charge, I remember laptop used to stay on for 5sec before turning off when unplugged.

additional info from cpuid harware:
Designed capacity 47520 mWh
Full chrage 5141mWh
battery indicator is orange on laptop body

What's the deal here?

So a damaged cable could run the laptop but not charge even when laptop is turned off? because it never gets a charge

There is one thing I didn't mention because I am not sure about it, I'm not sure it the original adapter but I did search by model number and it is an original adapter made for Acer (made by Lite-on) according to several sites

Yes, it is possible, hence Windows is recognizing that it is plugged in.
