If Blizzard was really wanting to "push their hardware to the limit" they would have done a open Beta for this weekend, instead of a stupid invite system that gives invites to the same group of people on every single Blizzard game. (mostly streamers, and youtubers)

I really hope the rubbish multiplayer in Doom is indicative of them having spent much more time and energy into making the single-player campaign great. But, only time will tell.

if you preorder, sure. Blizzard's definition of 'open' isn't the same as the rest of the world.

I've not played arena type games since forever, but, I really enjoyed the Doom beta. Even though I didn't really know what was going on in Warpath. I just followed the arrows and shot at everything shooting back at me. 😀

Caved in, played doom for a while, ran on a GT 940m at almost 30fps stable @768p, though it crashed on a 650ti 1GB

I was not impressed by Doom. The gameplay was bland and unbalanced and it ran pretty badly.

Overwatch wasn't horrible. Kinda like DotA meets TF2. Has some nice play mechanics and match modes, but only three maps doesn't give a lot of variety. One of them needs serious balance work as the attackers get funneled through a single choke point and are easily held in check by any semblance of defense on the other side.
