Battlefield 1 is constantly crashing. Usually happens in the campaign after a certain amount of time and in multiplayer a couple of seconds after I spawn.
Specs:
CPU: Athlon x4 860k
GPU: R7 370 2GB
RAM: 16 GB DDR3

I have Radeon Adrenalin driver version 18.9.3 installed. It says there are newer optional drivers to be installed. I also have a couple of windows updates pending. I tried reading online but haven't found a fix yet.

Solution
Try post those updates and see if they helped. If not check temps on both the CPU & GPU using HWmonitor. Afterwards I go into Origin and verify the game files, try these and see if any helped. The 860K temp should be under 60C and the GPU under 80C for optimal gaming.

Yeah, GPU is pretty normal. CPU on the other hand reached a peak of 103 degrees Celsius. Don't think that's good.
I should probably put some thermal paste again. This hasn't caused any crashes in other games. Another thing I've noticed is that I get a notification when the crash occurs stating: Radeon Wattman settings were restored to default due to an unexpected system failure. I have altered the clock and memory speeds of my GPU in the settings app. I posted my settings here https://imgur.com/a/Bt65Zu5. I haven't had problems with this in the past, or in any other games. I'll do the updates now and report if there were any changes later.

103 degrees Celsius is dangerously high....to the point where you may/will cause hardware damage to the CPU and/or motherboard.

Restore all overclocks back to default settings, clean off the CPU and apply a fresh coat of thermal paste.

FYI: That CPU is below the minimum required to run BF1 on single player. Don't be surprised if the game lags and stutters because of it.

I know. I do however get 30+ FPS which to me is playable. On singleplayer I get 50+ fps on low settings with TAA on. So pretty good results. I disabled any processes that use up a lot of my cpu so I have no more than 5% CPU usage when not running a game. I get pretty nice results with the thing, I'm surprised it's even this good. To clarify, the overclocks are for the Graphics Card, which has normal temperatures. My CPU is on stock clock speed so it's not overclocked in any way. I will still try to disable those as it is still possible that they are causing the crashes... I'll make sure to replace the thermal paste in the next couple of days. I cleaned my entire PC not that long ago (That's when I noticed that there was no thermal paste.), I didn't think much of it, as I ran a stress test on my CPU back then and it stayed at 50 degrees. IDK what's going on. I'll see. I'm still trying to get those windows updates done right now.
