Battlefield 3 punkbuster crashes

Hi, whenever i play on punkbuster enabled servers my pc locks up with a brrrrrrrrr sound loop. It doesn't happen if i go servers without punkbuster, or if i disable my onboard sound (realtek updated drivers). Since my onboard sound works with every other game i would rather not buy a sound card, i also dont want to play with cheaters on punkbuster disabled servers ;p

Apparently this happened to people on bad company 2 as well with onboard sound, If anyone has any solutions then lets hear it thanks.

I found this searching Google for a solution to the same problem. Maybe it'll help you guys out too, I'm gonna try it tonight.
