Battlefield 4 & 3 look awful on ultra

So I have got this problem with battlefield 4 and now battlefield 3. When I put the settings on ultra, the textures and lighting just look plain, and not detailed, like they're on low settings. Can someone please help me out here because I have no idea regarding how to fix this and its ruining my game experience to be honest.

What does ultra+X mean?

The first one is all the options and the second is terrain decoration, people said thats whats causing the bug but even when I change it up it looks awful.
