Let's start with my OS:
I3-2100 3.1 GHz
GTX 660 ti 2 GB
8 GB RAM
Windows 7 64-bit
Problem is that i have some awful spike lags, usually i play it at max with 30-60 FPS, but sometimes it drops lower than 30, dunno if this is normal. Now my question is, which is the best driver for BF4 and any possible program to fix the FPS to run a bit more smooth?

Solution
I'd recommend something like the 2500k or the 3570k...it depends on your motherboard support. I would say with the 660 ti you should be able to move to 40-50 fps minimum with settings on high with an i5...still to max everything out I would say you just cant do it with a 660 ti...you'd probably need to go to a faster GPU also. I think the game would be very playable and look really good with your setup if you went with an i5...but like I said before you should just try lowering some of the effects in game and keep the textures at high and it will probably give you a good balance between looks and game play with what you have now.
BF4 is a very CPU hungry game...I think the i3 2100 is probably on the low end of CPU's that can run the game. If you have the funds I would suggest moving to an i5 class CPU. As far as driver the best option is to run the latest nVidia driver 331.82...you have the option of running the nVidia beta driver 331.40 also which I've had good luck with it.

Regardless of driver I would suggest setting most options in game to medium quality with textures to high and trying it that way...theres not a huge difference between between that and everything set to max believe it or not and your system will likely pick up some good performance.

Atm no funds for a new CPU, and still, i just bought this CPU 1 year ago. On youtube i find very little videos with i3-2100 and gtx 660 ti to see how BF4 can run at max and those that i find are...meh, not that usefull. Now let's say i buy a good I5 class CPU, with like how ~FPS increase will help?
