[SOLVED] Battleifeld v not using 100% of the cpu and gpu

Hello so i have a battlefield 5 and i am playing with a 144 hz dispaly and i am just geting 70-80 fps and my cpu and gpu usage is at 50-70%

my specs
Custom loop med følgende komponenter:

i have turned off the v-sync and the llimter is on 200fps

Does you MB have MCE enabled in the BIOS, to at least boost all cores to 4.2 GHz?

(Run HWMonitor, and Prime95, if you see all cores at 4.2 GHz, then for sure MCE is on)

Based on your specs, you should get great fps. And you have a higher end GPU than I yet I seem to get better fps, and I play at 1440p.

Are you playing on 1080p? 1440p? or 4k? If at 4k then those fps I wouldn't be surprised but I am shocked about the low utilization of CPU n GPU. My 7700k is at around 90% and GPU 100%.

Also, you gotta tweak some in game settings to help improve the fps. Look into that for fps help.

But the fact that your GPU isn't at 100% is weird.

I have a 1440p display.

My temps on cpu is 40c and gpu 70c

Check to make sure your GPU is working correctly. Run a GPU stress test like Unique Heaven and make sure your GPU is hitting the correct speeds. Is the GPU overclocked?

Your 6700k @ 4.7GHz is essentially the same as mine. But my gpu is equivalent a gtx 1070. So, you should have lots more FPS than I. But only 50-70% gpu usage is weird. Try using MSI Afterburner, it is GPU software that can be used with any brand of GPU. In there, under Settings > Monitoring you'll find things you can put on a Graph. I use this to watch my GPU temps, GPU usage, and so forth.

Give those two softwares a try.

Things have changed. Running Dx12 with a Nvidia GPU is now doable. And even in BF V. But when I say its doable, I mean as of Dec 2018. Back in Oct 2018, No.

What I would suggest is playing BF V with DX12 and see what kind of FPS you get. Then do same with DX11. Use whichever is better then.
