Nice.
Given dodgy 3.xG connectivity when on the move a download was always the best option, now no need to download and transfer.
Shame not on Android yet though!
Be interesting to see what quality levels are available in app though, given they'll want to keep bandwidth down, but have a retina enable app :|

This is not the news. The iPlayer app on Nokia has allowed both live streaming and downloads for years (since N95 days and right up to Nokia's latest Symbian phones). It's not true that it was only previously available on desktop.

And still no iPlayer support yet for the Android flagship tablet - the Nexus 7. Come on BBC!

Seems that you can only get this app if you live in the UK. Anyone know of a way to get it in the US?
