Beats studio 3 or Gaming headset

I recently got the new beats 3 studio as a gift from a friend and i dont know is it good for gaming or no so i came to ask do i use it or do something else

If you enjoy crappy mid's/high's, but love low's.. the Beats 3 Studio is fine.

If you want to hear someone sneaking up on you gaming, you're going to want to switch to a gaming headset. Astro, HyperX, Logitech & Turtle Beach all make great gaming headset for $99 or less that are great.

Then again, you got the Beats for free. You may as well use those.
