Beats Studio- worth the money?

Supposedly the sound quality is amazing, but is it worth the price? I have a feeling, since Monster is the manufacturer, they are massively overpriced.
But are they actually worth it? If not, what are other equally or lower priced headphones with equal or better sound quality?

Not for his price range Davcon, I can't recommend any AKG headphone for a budget under $400 because most of them desperately need a good amp. The K701s, quite simply the best sub $800 headphone in my opinion, requires at least $200 for an amp.

Alright, i think im gonna buy the Beyer Dynamic 770's. Any last suggestions or reasons i should change my mind? In addition to music im also probably going to by the zalman clip on mic to make a nice headset for gaming (mainly BFBC2). If not, im gonna go ahead and get them.

PS: The reason i didnt go for an actual gaming headset is because i prefer the sound quality of these types of headsets.

Na, Grado, Audio Technica, Shure, and a few other make some great ~$100 headphones. Hell JVC's RX700s are pretty damn good, especially with some modding, and they only cost $35.
