Been away for awhile

I have been out of the loop for awhile and was wanting some opinion on my build and would like to know how much I should update my PC. I was trying to get by on just getting a newer video card but I realize that might not be an option. Basically I want to be 4K ready and run games on the high end of settings when I get a monitor

My specs (I know they're dated)

MOBO: ROG Asus Maximus VI Formula
CPU: Intel i5-4670k Quad Core
PSU: Rosewill lightning 800w
RAM: Corsair Dominator 2666 4X4 16gb
GPU: ROG Asus Gtx 780
(Let me know if you need more)

And I'm currently using my old smart TV 2015 samsung UHD 55" as my monitor until I find one I want

A new gpu is all you need. Oc that cpu if you haven't. It'll help with min fps.

No need to upgrade anything except the GPU. I suggest to a GTX 1080 ti if you want the best 4K experience possible. Overclock your CPU (you might need to get a new cooler), and you should be good to go.
