My new SATA HDDs have two power connections. The standard 4 pin power
connector and the new SATA power connector. Which one do I use? Do I use
both?

Thanks much,
Rich

Use whichever *one* is most convenient for you.
Do *not* use both.

No, use whatever one you have the connector for.

Thanks much. I'll be configuring this system tomorrow and didn't want to
throw a rod out of the gate.

The connection going to the mobo is data only.

Not power. You still need an adapter to hook
up to a spare 4 pin power connector, from the
power supply. For the power.

Do NOT use both! Pick either ONE.
