[citation][nom]sonnywoj[/nom]im still on the search to get all my apps back. its tough[/citation]
Why don't you save your apps in a folder and back up your drive. External hard drives are so cheap, they make a great backup platform. Then when you have to re-install a OS you have them. They may be out of date but you can just run the update on them.
In Linux I have a list I keep updated of personal tweaks and programs (where I got them) I use thats makes things easy.

I don't think they could automate Daemon tools well. Since it uses a kernel mode driver for the virtualized drive it requires a restart in between loading the driver and installing the software.

no winamp, no burnware, noyahoo messenger. 😱

If it had those it would be imba :)) gl nice program anyway for those who dont use the above.

[citation][nom]EnFoRceR22[/nom]yay a blote installer always wanted one of those.. a program that installs a bunch of crap is always nice.[/citation]

Congratulations, you're a moron. Why even post?

Anyways, I just used this after of fresh install of Win7, worked quickly and flawlessly. I wish I'd known about it before.

It's not an application. All you do is go to their website, check the installs you want, and it just runs 1 installer that places them all on your computer, very quickly I might add. After that, just delete the installer file, and you'll never know it was there.

And yes, this is way easier and faster than manually go to each of these websites, downloading them, and installing them one by one.

I am pretty hesitant to allow any website to install stuff for me. Who knows what they are doing on the other end? Especially when something like this is free... Its prob ok but I am just cautious.

Yea, I like to tweak the default settings usually of most software. I like the lean and mean options when installing. I woulnd't trust this. I mean really, how long does it take to download and install the latest versions of these utility type of freeware programs? 15 minutes? That and you have to first install this software, adding bloat to the system/registry. See, that's how I think.

Linux has this nifty little system with repositories and package managers. Just saying. ^_^

I just use mozbackup reinstall thunderbird & firefox, then import the stuff into the other browsers. Don't use any of the other stuff except vlc and keep a copy of that on a back up drive. Haven't tried mozbackup on win 7 yet but even if that doesn't work I'll just move stuff from the XP %appdata% into the win 7 %appdata% off of a backup image.

I post because i can. There isnt one thing in that screenshot i would even use. Besides this program has no point other then to add what people always complain about. The one thing i would want it to do it likely wont do which would be to import settings of said programs from my old install of windows.. thats the only annoying part of reloading.. installing programs if your well not to lasy but apperantly you are is the easy part.. seting them all up again te way you want.. thats the time consuming part.
