Now this will open the market for bezel free, interlocking LED screens. :D

Can it do six portrait monitors in a single row? That would be optimal for shooters, I think.
Edit: No, wait, there'd still be a centre bezel. How about 5 in a row, then?

It'd be amazing for Flight Sims though.

I think it was made with Flight Sims in mind. That being said, 5 in a row should cut out the central bezel making COD way more fun

bezel-less LCDs, or 5 in portrait. both the fps and racing game looked terrible. especially the dropped frames in the racing game.

Mutliple configs for 12, 18, 24 monitors using crossfire is not yet supported, though if the Linux based tech-demo is any indication they're working on it.

I'm running a 3x1 Portrait now, I'm picking one of these up to run a 5x1 when it ships. I may add the 6th monitor as a stand alone group for web browsing and whatnot.

You guys really need to research more before making a wish list.

Users can connect one, two, three, four or six monitors (not five, curiously) in an array of configurations.

The HD5970 might be the better solution for gaming with Eyefinity6 as an HD5870 is having difficulty reaching acceptable framerates in today's titles.

So let's do some math, Eyefinity6 style:
6x Acer B243HL monitors @ $299.99 ea. = $1799.94 (could of gone cheaper)
1x HIS H597F2GDGC Radeon HD 5970 2GB @ $749.99
Total = $2549.93

To see the look on your wife's face when she get's the bill, priceless.

I still say hook em up to projectors instead of monitors. Why hasn't anyone attempted this yet?

I can see how Movie Theaters could use this technology to get even higher resolutions.

Acer monitors? really? I could think of a lot better things to do with $1800 than getting a pile of junk TN panels with flaky warranties.
