Hello, hopefully this is the right place to ask this...
Let me tell you about the original problem.
Lately I've realized whenever I start a game, there's immediate buzzing in my speakers (no buzzing if I switch to the other sound card and use headphones).
After briefly looking on the internet, using a "Hum Destroyer" sounded like a good thing to do.
The current audio setup is like this:
From motherboard USB -> Focusrite -> 6.3mm audio cable goes into Behringer Hum Destroyer 400 - cable goes into Yamaha receiver - gives sound to speakers.
The dreaded buzz is gone, ambient sound in world of warcraft is perfectly audible.
but none of the other sounds can be heard.
Playing music in spotify works, but at much lower volume and it almost feels like things are getting muted / filtered out...
Any help would be appreciated...many thanks
