Behringer mixer power supply

Hello,
I have a Eurorack UB1832fx Pro. I have had it for over 2 years and went to switch it on last Saturday for band practice, noticed it powered up and came back a short time later to see one red led light very dim on the thing. I checked the fuse and the power cord. Still nothing. I then pulled the power supply out and took my V.O.M and had 48 volts coming out of the harness. Is there anything else I can check before I hang it on my wall of blown up gear as a decoration?

similar problem mind you I did always leave it on it wasn't until I turned it off that it wouldn't turn on.
Mind you I was in Thailand when it happened and before it was running in Canada. Is the case fairly easy to take off?.
