im thinking of clean installing windows 10 on a seperate SSD as a boot drive and then having a seperate 7200rpm HDD for storage. but what justifies the extra price for the SSD if i only install the system on it?. so apart from bootup times, what are some benefits of having windows 10 on a SSD compared to a 7200rpm HDD? thanks (wont be storing any programs or anything to the SSD other than they system)

An SSD will make a major difference. The whole system is snappier.

Personally, I would not build a new main use PC without an SSD.

It's not just the OS, but you install most/all of your other applications on it.
Everything is faster, not just boot time.

What do you use your system for?

alot of things, it will be my main PC. so web browsing, downloading, light editing, gaming etc, so general usage.
