Benefits of Windows 10?

Do you guys think Windows 10 improves hardware performance? Some pleople say it does improve performance for games and some just hated it! any thoughts on this?

The main reason (IMO) for upgrading to win 10 is DX12 support with future games. Other than that, I'm not all that impressed
