I plan to build a new gaming PC using a Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU. I want to use a heatsink on my NVME SSD. I have selected this SSD for my build: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C3K7MTSY?tag=pcpapi-20&linkCode=ogi&th=1. I also know there is a version of this SSD that comes with a heatsink. My understanding is that some motherboards come with built-in heatsinks for SSDs and therefore an SSD with a built-in heatsink would be unnecessary. These are the two motherboards that I am considering for my PC: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DGVBM73J?tag=pcpapi-20&linkCode=ogi&th=1 and https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DT55ZJM7?tag=pcpapi-20&linkCode=ogi&th=1&psc=1. From what I can tell, they appear to have SSD heat sinks built-in. However, since I am not super knowledgeable about motherboards, I just wanted to get confirmation on whether these motherboards have heatsinks that I can use with my selected SSD or if I should get an SSD with a built-in heat sink.
Thanks.
Thanks.
