Hello, I bought a monitor from an ebay seller around this time last year. It has always had a strange flicker from time to time, and the internal fan doesn't switch off unless the monitor is fully powered down, but it was still unusable. However, it's recently started to show flickering, black, horizontal lines permanently across the whole screen as shown in these images:

It's lost a substantial amount of brightness overall, and it looks like every second horizontal line of pixels on the monitor are permanently black across the whole screen, with additional lines flickering to black in the centre of the screen. Sometimes it will suddenly decide to go back to how it should look for a random amount of time (a few seconds to a few minutes) before going back to the same fault.
I've taken the back off the monitor and checked any cables I could easily get to, then re-assembled the monitor and it's showing exactly the same thing. Any ideas what the problem might be and whether this might be fixable?
The monitor is a benq bl2711u, manufactured Jan 2016 (4k monitor, IPS, 60hz).
