Benq monitor XL2411Z

i bought a new monitor "benq XL2411z" and it said that its 144hz, but it show me that i'm only using 60hz.
could some one please tell me how to set it for 144hz?
btw am using:
GPU: gtx 970
OS: windows 10

Let go of your mouse to complete the test, and it will verify (in green) what Refresh Rate your display is running at.

If it doesn't say 144 Hz while using DVI-D Dual Link (very important, there's also Single Link!), then try using a different browser, like Google Chrome.

If you're sure you're using a DVI-D Dual Link cable (no HDMI adapters!), then you can change the refresh rate in your monitor options in Windows.
