Question BenQ PD3200Q backlight leakage? Or something else?

Hi Guys,

One morning this big bright light appeared on left side of my BenQ PD3200Q.
I dont know what to do, monitor is still under warranty until july 2020.

It does look like light leakage. What happens when you apply pressure to the bezel in that area? Does it get worse?

Does this happen on other devices that are connected to the monitor? Game consoles, laptops etc?

Also, is it only visible in a specific field of view, such as viewing the monitor from the side as posted in your picture?

Looks like light leak to me as well. If the monitor is still in the return period, I'd suggest you inform your reseller for a replacement or you can also contact BenQ directly if the monitor is in warranty.

Hi. It is funny that I've noticed exactly the same backlight bleed (just a strip of ~10cm), but on the right side of the display and after more than 5 years of use! Can this happen as it wears out?
