Hi! I have a BenQ XL2411P which can go up to 144Hz, but I only have HDMI slot on my laptop, is there any possibility to get more the 60Hz? Thanks for your time!

Solution
even if your laptop does support HDMI 1.3+, a lot of monitors will only support >60Hz through DisplayPort but it will be specified in the monitor's manual if this is the case.

but to reach these frequencies through HDMI you would also have to have a HDMI 1.3 cable. if it came with the monitor it should be okay.
it depends on which version of HDMI your laptop supports, also depends on the HDMI version of the cable, and if the monitor supports it's full refresh rate through HDMI.

all of these details should be specified for each device in their user manual, on their packaging, and/or on their manufacturer product webpages.
