Question Benq XL2430T won't go over 120hz using DisplayPort?

Hello, I bought Benq xl2430t monitor. for some reason I cant get it work on 144hz.
I have a DisplayPort connect from my PC (NVIDIA 1070 GT) to the monitor and I cant make it above 120hz.
I understood that type of cable is an issue so I bought HDMI 2.0 but it get worse and wont let me get above 60hz.

I have 2 monitor (one is the benq xl2430t and second is simple Philips - i dont have intention to make this one above 60hz).

someone knows what can I do?

You have a 1070 gtx I gather.

On Windows 10, head to Settings > System > Display > Advanced Display Settings > Display Adapter Properties. Click the “Monitor” tab, choose your monitor’s advertised refresh rate from the “Screen Refresh Rate” list, and click “OK”.

Do you have to switch to 144 Hz via the monitor menu?

I took a screenshot of the options that i can choose....

no 144 hz, i looked at the Monitor setting and i cant find problem there
