BenQ Zowie Xl2411 incorrect cable message

So as i said my monitor displays an incorrect cable message when i try to go past 60hz and The image gets blurry. I'm using a dvi dual link cable bought on amazon because i've lost The originale one ( provided with monitor). In my opinion there's some kind of single link bottleneck issue... I mean when i try to go past 60hz The monitor expects a dual link signal but somehow it receives a single link signal.... Any ideas?

I'd say they sent you a single link cable. That or you have a GPU problem.
