Hi all!
I recently upgraded most of my gaming PC, but had to replace i7 4970k horrible cooler with an aftermarket one since I was having heating issues, I replaced the CPU too in case it was faulty just to be sure.
Everything came today, but when I looked at the socket, I noticed 3 pins a bit bent, but I put the CPU and installed everything anyway. So far pc runs totally fine, I played for a while and saw no issues, I'm running prime95 right now and will leave it on for several hours to test how it goes.
I'm a bit stressed out about this, should I really worry? Would it harm the CPU or something? The motherboard is the MSI Z97 Gaming 5 if that helps.
Thanks.
