I got the GTX 750 a while back and am not quite content with its performance. I am looking for a new card and will sell the old one (or put it in my old pc and sell) any suggestions, I don't care if it is AMD or Nvidia. But for the record I have a crossfire capable board so an AMD card would we ideal so I could put another in in the future.

youll see a bit of improvement here, but at the 200$ price point your gains wont be huge...you were better off not cheaping out the first time around...i realize you want to remedy that, but keep dropping 200$ every month for tiny gains is a bad idea.

i would say save up to the 300$ range and the purchase will be much more justified. maybe a 770 or something, possibly 280x if its cheaper and you game on multiple monitors.

The reason I bought this card was because I wanted to do some gaming on an old dell PC that had a bad psu. Then I realized I loved PC gaming so I built a whole new system ahah. Looking back I wish I woulda known that but oh well. The 760 looks nice too?

much faster than any card close to its price. its a r9-280 which is slightly faster than a gtx760 and slightly slower than a gtx670.

How does it compare to the 760

So I checked the 7950 and it does not leave me much headroom for future upgrades as my psu is a corsair builder 500w. The 760 or r9 270x only require around 400w psu while the 7950 require a 500w.

what cpu do you have? the corsair builder 500w power supply is average but depending on your setup i wouldn't try to push that power supply too far. the 30 watt difference between a 760 and a 7950 is not going to be a make or break situation on that power supply.
