Hello,

I'm planning to buy gaming monitor this month, my gpu is GTX 970 (one card) i7 and I was thinking about buying 2560x1440 monitor since I've heard one gtx 970 is enough for it to run all games at this resolution with stable fps and really nice graphics.

Also I've heard the difference in gaming between 2560x1440 and full hd is really big and noticable :)

I'd like to buy 27' inch monitor so it is a must, now I don't know if it must have 144 hz but I've heard it is standard or nearly nowadays.. I really don't know which one to choose since there is so much monitors on the market that I just don't know which one lol..

After reading around the web I see Asus PB278QR IPS is pretty good?

Can someone advice me which one would be best also Im not planning to spend more than 500-550 USD unless there is really dfference for comparable low difference in price.

Thanks and I hope that someone can help me out!

Why? I heard and did read on this forum that GTX970 is really good for 1440p ?? Also you said Asus PB278QR but you linked to way more expensive PG278Q 😛 It was mistake or Asus PB278QR is not so good?

I dont need every eyecandy thing in a game and also I wont need AA from what Ive seen on multiple forums and on this one also that gtx 970 is doing really well at 1440p 😛

If you could, can you tell me better monitor than ASUS PB278QR but lower in price than one you mentioned?? And from what I understand asus PB278QR isn't bad right? Its good?

Thanks!

Its 25'' and I need 27'' and I never liked acer company i have bad past with them heh 😛 i will stick with the asus pb I wouldnt see the difference between 5ms and 1ms anyway 😛

Thank you for help!

I would check this out. Asus IPS 1440p 144hz monitor.
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-monitor-mg279q

Now keep in mind it is $200 more than the 60hz Asus. If you plan on upgrading your 970 to something in the future, maybe Nvidia Pascal GPU's, and you enjoy 144hz I would get this. Otherwise the 60hz Asus one is fine.

Thanks for reccomendation, but should I really buy monitor with FreeSync technology while I have GTX 970?? And despite that I will never buy AMD card??

^Somebody answer me this question please I'd like tobuy monitor today😛
