Currently I have a MSI MAG241C, which is a nice 1080p 144Hz monitor but it's small - just 23,6'', so I'm selling it.
What monitor would you recommend under 300€? At 27'' is 1440p kind of necessity, even now I can see individual pixels (I really should sit further 😀) and I have a RTX card so performance should be good when more games support DLSS. Also G-sync is really good - my current one is freesync but still works (even if it's not G-sync compatible)
Here are the monitors that fit the criteria (taken from price sorting site here in my country):
  • Samsung C27JG50
  • HP 27xq
  • AOC Q27G2U
  • AOC CQ27G2U
  • Samsung S27R750QEU
  • DELL GAMING S2719DGF
I can't really tell which one is better than the others so that's why I'm asking you. Thanks

Solution
  • Samsung C27JG50
bad design and no freesync, which does not guaranty that G-sync will work.
There are now newer models of the Samsung CJG50 series including the Samsung C27JG56 and the Samsung C32JG56
The CJG56 models feature AMD FreeSync and I highly recommend them
  • HP 27xq
Is a TN panel, so NO.
  • AOC Q27G2U
One of the best. I use it. Ergonomic design and great performance for the buck. The stand is sturdy and even offers height adjustment up to 130mm as well as -5°/20° tilt and +/- 30° swivel. You can also mount the screen (100x100mm VESA).
AOC CQ27G2U and the AOC Q27G2U (flat-screen) are basically the same: models with the same specs – plus...

  • Samsung S27R750QEU
Monitor with a clamp adjustable stand? Not a gaming monitor. Plus low peak brightness, not great colors, and no freesync.
  • DELL GAMING S2719DGF
Best overall (?) Mediocre image quality but a flawless performance with plenty of premium features such as 155Hz, ergonomic design, and rich connectivity options IF these metter to you.

I would consider DELL if you're willing to pay premium. AOC or Samsung C27JG56 otherwise

Solution
Which RTX do you have? Are you playing the latest AAA games and what FPS do you want. The reason I ask is my 2080 Super has to run a lot of medium settings in heavy AAA games to run 1440p 120+ FPS. 1440p is much hard to drive than 1080p.
I have 2060, which is not the most powerful for 1440p, but it won't matter in the types of games I play anyway. Plus lately I don't game as much so just desktop will look better

That's a really nice breakdown, thank you.
The AOC CQ27G2U looks really good and I kind of like the curved screen on my MSI
The Dell is 8€ more which is nothing, 155Hz isn't really a selling point for me, 144 is already plenty, the stand is really nice but also not needed, what about response time (moving windows and text), colors, blacks and overal performance in movies?

Old monitor sold, now I have empty desk 😀
Should I go for the AOC CQ27G2U? It seems really good for the price.
Also what does the "/BK Gaming" means after the name?
In store they have "AOC CQ27G2U/BK Gaming"
