Best 280 AIO for overclocking an i7 7700k

I want to push my i7 7700k to the limit overclocking. I need a 280mm AIO to do that and right now I'm looking at either the Cryorig A80 or the NZXT Kraken X61. Which one is better for overclocking and will hold lower temperatures? If there are any better options what are they?

The Cryorig R1 is within a couple C of the X61 with no chance of leaking or the pump going out. (if your pump goes out your PC is 100% down) It's also makes less noise.

Something like 75% of 7700Ks can hit 4.9. About 50% can hit 5.0. Supposedly 5.1 is 25% and 5.2 is a mere 5%, assuming a load of 1.4 volts which is probably the most you could consider sane. In other words, there's no guarantee you'll be able to hit a clock speed that high, and while your cooling solution plays a role, it's not the only factor. I've got my 7700K running at 5GHz @ 1.375 volts with a Kraken x62, and while it's mostly stable (prime95 will produce errors, but that's no longer considered a reasonable test of stability; everything else seems to pass), it runs absurdly hot at 84-86C under max load, even with the Kraken on full blast. The odd thing is that the temperature of the water never gets about 36 degrees or so, which means that my CPU needs to be delidded. Delidding and replacing the stock thermal compound (which is utter garbage) with liquid metal can result in 15-25C cooler load temps, which will result in slightly more stability at higher clock speeds, albeit within a narrow margin since the potential of the CPU is largely determined by the quality of the batch yours came from.
